Wise Vineyards was established in 1991 when Ron & Sandra Wise purchased Eagle Bay Estate and the adjoining Geographe Estate and nurtured the Shiraz, Cabernet and Semillon vines that were first planted in 1986.

Ron is passionate about West Australian wine and its ability to be judged amongst the worlds’ best. He has invested over 16 years into analyzing soil segments, replanting varieties and setting benchmark standards in winery & viticultural practices to ensure that Wise Vineyards produce award winning wines of distinction.

Ron and Sandra were both born in Perth and married while Ron was completing his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia. They have three children; Tim, Daniel & Jodi.
