Great wine demands great fruit and Viticulturist Craig Morgan BSc.
(Plant Horticulture and Viticulture) -who was dux of his class at Macquarie University, has an inherent affinity for the region, its climate and its soils. Craig overseas all fruit supply for Wise wines, managing our own vineyards in Margaret River and the Donnybrook Valley and liaising with growers on all aspects of quality fruit production and sustainable viticulture. Craig’s intrinsic relationship with the region has seen him develop what we fell is a special talent for delivering wine grapes of exceptional quality to Wise.

When not active in the company vineyards, Craig and his wife Katherine are usually off on yet another great adventure either sailing, or off road motorcycling or wandering about somewhere off the beaten track in outback Western Australia.

Craig’s profound respect for the environment has instilled at Wise sustainable, low impact vineyard management practices that embrace natural, organic and biodynamic principles wherever possible, including minimal use of herbicides and pesticides, responsible use of water resources and the preservation of native species and the natural bush-land on and surrounding the property.
